Lovren More Error Prone Than The Entire Saints Squad Put Together !!! Tuesday, 11th Nov 2014 12:56 Dejan Lovren's head may have already been in Liverpool back in June but Liverpool fans are starting to wish his body hadn't joined it. Last season Dejan Lovren was one of the best defenders in the Premier League at least up until getting injured up at Sunderland and it was this fine form that prompted Liverpool to fork out £20 million to reunite the rest of his body with his head which had allegedly been residing in Liverpool for several weeks before Brendon Rodgers parted with the big bucks. At the time Saints supporters felt that they had lost that Lovren feeling and that he was gone gone gone, however it is Liverpool supporters feeling it now. Now statistics not only reveal that Lovren is the most error prone defender in the entire Premier League, but he had committed more errors than the entire Southampton squad put together. So far Lovren is officially credited with 4 costly errors although Liverpool fans might suggest that he has had a hand in a few more than that, in contrast Saints in conceding only 5 goals in becoming the meanest defence in England, less than half of the next contenders in Chelsea and Swansea, with 11 have yet to have any player make a vital mistake to concede a goal. That is an incredible record although its ironic that Liverpool themselves have been responsible for almost half of that total having scored twice against us on the opening day of the season. It obviously give Saints supporters great pleasure to see Lovren struggle given his atrocious behaviour to manouevre his way out of St Mary's and up to Anfield, indeed of all the players who left Lovren was perhaps the one who least deserved to go in terms of service given to Saints . Still it all comes out in the wash as the old saying goes and after reading these statistics to quote another phrase this time an advertising slogan "Im Lovren It" Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
