The only way that Harry Redknapp's welcome at St Mary's on Saturday could be any more vitriolic is if he walked out alongside Ian Branfoot, but we shouldnt let him make us lose focus.

It would be debateable who would be the most hated man in St Mary's if Branfoot did walk out alongside Redknapp, for my half pennyworth, personally I hate Redknapp more, Branfoot for all his sins and they were many was genuinely committed to Southampton Football Club, he believed that what he was doing was for the best interests of the Club, whereras Harry didnt give a flying toss about this club or its supporters, he was here for his own self interest and has stated publicly that he knew he had made a mistake from the very first day, we gave him a chance to show that he truly cared, he spat in our faces.

Thats the reason why literally every Saints fan in the stadium tomorrow will boo him to the dug out, however we cant let it overshadow what the main aim of the day is, thats to get three points for ourselves which will push us that much closer to safety and at the same time virtually condemn Harry to relegation, nothing against QPR here, Harry apart I would usually be delighted to see them stay up, but sadly I cannot wish any good will on him, its nothing to do with his spell(s) as a Pompey manager, its purely because of the way he behaved here.

So on Saturday we need to turn the energy that is focused on Redknapp before the kick off and switch it to supporting the team for 90 minutes, its no use shouting at Redknapp for 2 minutes and then remaining silent for the next 90, he will be using the vitriol against him to inspire his team, QPR fans will use it to get behind theirs, if we want to make ourselves the 12th man on Saturday we need to ensure that we dont let them.
