There was a cd of QPR related songs doing the rounds about the time of the Cardiff playoff final.All the favourites like steptoe and son,pigbag and the loftus road runners single from the mid 70’s were on there.
I think it just missed out on the album charts by 100,000 or so. |

I walked to the game from Liverpool st again and I wish I’d walked back there again after the game as the central line was dire yesterday afternoon.We walked down to Shepherd’s Bush station and it was chaos there and all the trains were packed to the rafters. |

But if the police saw you nod off at the wheel they’d do something about it,not wait until you’ve crashed into the train before springing into action.If he saw that handball yesterday he should’ve blown his whistle straight away rather than be accused of cheating.
It’s different with var to back them up and I can see why Lino’s are reluctant to flag for offside,but we haven’t got var in the championship,so if he sees something that is an offence,which it obviously was,then he should blow straight away. |

If Ward would’ve blown his whistle as soon as the offence occurred there wouldn’t have been anything to combust about,but by waiting for him to score it made it look worse.
It’s like a copper waiting until a criminal is getting into the getaway car before deciding to try and arrest him even though he’d seen him rob the bank. |

According to that link a team can gain an advantage by a player handling the ball but not the player who handles it.

So you’re basically saying that handling the ball is ok as long as the person who handles it doesn’t score.Surely that can’t be right,and if it is,it has to be against the laws of the game. |

Most people in the lower and upper loft could see that their player handles the ball before he puts it into the net,but how did Gavin Ward see it as you can’t really see it from the angle they show on the tv?And why did he wait so long before blowing his whistle?
If he’d blown straight away,surely there would’ve been less drama from the Stoke players and fans about it.
But I’m glad he finally did us a favour and disallowed it. |

Due to our prominent position in the front of ML we always seem to get our faces shown on the tv highlights,including the minute’s silence before the Sunderland game.
