I've only kept note of the teams i've seen us play against. 191 games and 73 different opponents. The joy of division hopping. Wish i had kept the scores but have seen an awful lot of 1-1.
The last two years before i retired at least once a week i told someone that "this place is draining the fcking life out of me".So much so i walked nine months early.
Had a five day break there in July. Super hot so pool life for most of it. Stayed in Mellieha ,north of Valetta. Buses regular and cheap. Local beer wasn't bad and the food was great but mountain like portions , beware. Would go back in a cooler month for a proper bit of tourism.
Only have heard two anthems booed at Windsor Park ,Belfast. Ireland and Wales who had previously given our anthem (GSTK)the treatment. Although it may happen to Scotland next time for the same offence at Hampden.
not hard to be quiet for a few bars of an anthem though.
I was at a cultural event on saturady in Ballymena and Ballee Community Centre were doing two bottles of Coors for a fiver. Sit on the ground outside but the sun was blazing.
Looked good first 15 mins but once they/we scored the defence has been all over the place. Hope we get another period of dominance and Frey can get one away.
The Antrim Coast Road is as good as anywhere in the world. I may be biased as it only takes eight miles from my house to the start of it. Small villages and charming towns all the way up to the North Coast with Scotland clearly visible most of the way. Plenty of good Guinness and food stops if you're not driving. Game of Thrones scenery and actual sets aplenty en route. Go as little or as far as you need to. My easiest access point is Ballygally where i would go regularly to just sit and watch the sea and have an ice cream. The Ballygally Castle Hotel has a couple of ghosts which is nice for the tourists. Bit of a Co.Antrim tourist board post but it is a lovely drive.
At the Vetchfield Swansea i was acting the good guy and asking the heavies if i was okay taking a plastic bottle in with me . He said no problem most people have glass bottles inside
