Because football is a highly skilled game. Less than 0.01 of the UK population are good enough to be professional football players. In comparison anyone with a driving licence could easily become a train driver after a short period of training. Bus drivers and HGV drivers have a much more skilled job than train drivers yet receive half the pay All train drivers will shortly be paid by the taxpayers when train companies are nationalised. A lot already are Tfw, Scotland, Northern Rail, The London taxpayers also fund Tfl where underground drivers get paid a lot more than train drivers. Despite being not required to drive trains on most underground lines. They just sit in the cab opening doors. |

Will be even better if they accept cash at the stadium. Introduce a paper match day programme on sale on the day like the vast majority of PL and EFL clubs to engage and informs fans and give an extra reason to turn up. |

Adult price in South stand without a child is the same price as all other stands at £411 from Swansea official site So an extra discount to my original post. Adults in South stand with a child pays £350 which is £61 less than normal adult price. The children effectively go free. Even better than I originally thought. |

Perhaps they should allow a bigger allocation of tickets for visiting supporters. Especially for bigger clubs like Swansea who can bring more supporters. |

An adult season ticket is £400 So and adult and a child at £350 is £50 less than an adult meaning adult gets an extra £50 off and the child goes free. It will be worth an adult buying an adult and child season ticket even if he does not have a child to take which works out at just £15 per game. |

Correct broadcasting revenue was £8.7 million but this not all paid by Sky. Other broadcasting revenues include worldwide revenue, ITVs revenue for showing EFL matches and BBC revenues for showing FA cups matches. These revenues are received from either the FA or EFL who negotiate these deals. The EFL gets around £148 for selling worldwide TV rights. The PL also give the EFL £150 million a year as a share of its worldwide TV rights. Swansea accounts for season 22/34 are not very transparent on season ticket sales or match day sales either with just £3.5 under matchday income In season 22/23 Swansea had around 11,000 season tickets at and average price of £459 which should account for £5 milliom in season tickets sales. Our average attendance season 22/23 was 16549 so that would mean 5549 tickets sales per game 5549 ×30x 23= £3.828 million. [Post edited 12 Dec 9:26]

I have said exactly the same thing for the last ten years whenever councils blame tourism for the lack of affordable housing. Which part of councils have the powers of compulsory purchase are not true. Powers of compulsory purchase by councils If owned cannot be traced Owners refuse to take action bring property back into use Where properties have been empty for a long time and causing a nuisance Is a danger to the public. Interest aside in Drakeford's budget. The Senedd have awarded local councils an average increase in their funding of 4.3%. All the labour run councils have been award funding increases above 4.3% including Cardiff and Newport at 5.3% and 5.7% getting the most. All other councils run by PC, Conservative , independents or no overall control got the least with Vale of Glamorgan , Monmouthshire, Powys and Gwynedd getting 3.2% or less. Almost as if the funding was based on the colour of the party rather than actual needs. . |

Still hardly Stolen as all the evidence was proves he legally obtained them from the Ottermans who governed Greece at the time. With out him buying them they would have been lost or destroyed for ever. |

It was the Normans that first "invaded" what was called Ireland. They were invited by the deposed King of Leinster in an attempt to regain his lands. Leinster was one of the five kingdoms on the Ireland of Ireland. Funny how the myth evolved that it was the nasty English that invaded a peaceful United Ireland when in fact Ireland consisted of many warring kingdoms. |

Sky deal this season is £120 million for all EFL clubs not sure on divisional split. |
| Forum Reply | Season Tickets 25/26 at 16:31 11 Dec 2024
Sky deal is £180 million next season of which 70% will be for the championships. 70% of 180 is 126 Each Club will get 126÷ 24 = £5.25 million although the amount each clubs gets depends on how many of their matches are selected for coverage. |

Or even government action on the 500,000 uk properties that have been empty for over a year. Councils have the powers to compulsory purchase these, complete any repairs, sell some of them or rent them to people currently housed in expensive hotels and B&B. |

A care worker on minimum wages £23,000 a year. State pension is £11942 a year a lot get even less than that. I am sure pensioners would welcome parity with Care Workers. |
| Forum Reply | Public sector pay at 16:08 11 Dec 2024
The state pension is based on average earnings in September. Pay awards are generally based on the monthly inflation rate at the time of annual review/negotiations. |

A great win Plymouth had only lost one home game this season. We have now won more away games than home games. Just hope the fans turn against Sunderland. We are playing attacking football and scoring goals as well as moving up the table. |

They have grabbed a tiny fraction to secure their borders as opposed to Russian that has seized 25% of Ukraine and gives Asylum to war criminals. |

The average farmer works 65 hours a week according to government statistics. So it is likely some do work 89 hours especially live stock farmers who tend there animals 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. |
