New Senedd initiative
at 22:56 20 Dec 2024

I can tell you that they interview and an inferior Welsh speaking candidate gets the job. A friend of my daughter is a PA in the Senedd.

None from me, they were there when we needed it, but they could have left in better circumstances.

John van Zweden owned 5% of the shares, in no way significant. Martin and Louisa Morgan had a significant share 23.7%. HJ had 13.2%.

EFL vs Welsh clubs in Europe

Anyone with an ounce of sense could see that this would never work. Another reason why we need someone with football knowledge and experience advising Coleman and the owners on football matters and being a link between the management and staff.

Ii is going to be even harder because the Senedd prefer, I could say insist, on Welsh speaking employees.

We are stacked with midfielders and IMO Cullen is doing a good job as AM plus Franco can play there. Unless we are bringing in a lot of players I would prefer strengthening elsewhere, up front, wide and defence.

Justified or just another vanity project by the Senedd.

I would say it was topical as we are discussing goalkeeping options at the club. If it's above your intelligence level like most things, butt out.

Apparently if the current ownership took over 12 months ago, there is a very strong feeling that a deal could have been negotiated for the Ospreys to stay at the stadium.

The biggest rugby attendance in Swansea is normally the Varsity match Swansea Uni v Cardiff Uni. Over 10,000 are normally there.

The crux of the matter is the ECB told Glamorgan if you want to hold international matches it has to be in Cardiff and Sofia Gardens had to be upgraded. Mainly down to the corporate side that is a major factor in cricket.

Williams out
at 11:53 20 Dec 2024

Abdulai has been a decent player for the u21s even when out wide, I expect Williams is hoping he will just click. But with the continual basic mistakes he makes there is no way I would put him in midfield. For some the step up is just too great is it nerves, confidence or just not good enough, who knows.

Don't have to wait 4 years, the Senedd elections are in 18 months.

"The latest Barn Cymru poll released earlier in December by YouGov for ITV Wales and Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre suggests that Plaid Cymru could be the largest party in the Senedd come 2026. The poll put Plaid on 24 percent of the vote, ahead of Labour and Reform UK who both were on 23 percent, and the Conservatives on 19 percent."

Reform on the same percentage as Labour at the moment, behind Plaid. The labour collapse in Wales is going to be as big as the conservatives at the last GE, I never thought I would see the day. The British/Welsh public have had enough.
