| News Comment | BUNDLE – Report at 13:32:24
This is right up there Clive as one of your very best reports. However your title of "BUNDLE " would have had more attraction if you had called it "STRAMASH" which is the Scottish term, describing the chaos in the box, prior to Alfie knocking in on our equaliser. This terminology provided by my Scottish friend and die hard Glasgow Rangers fan. Great write up tx u. |
| News Comment | Right man. Right time? – Column at 19:29:07
Great write up Clive. I am young enough (heh) to remember Gordon Jago coming in as gaffer, somewhat unknown and look what he achieved, producing great football and winning results. We really deserved to win Div 1 that season. This write up, triggers optimism again, lets face it, tough going last year being a QPR fan. As for Gareth, hes one of our own, just would like others to restore dignity to him, for a individual than run short of what was required, but loves our club. PS The white smoke clip last night from our media team, producced a smile, lets hope we have more of that as our beloved club gets back to winning ways under Marti. |
| News Comment | As good as we've got? Report at 19:12:12
Well done Clive bang on report Amongst the waif of despondancey, were so lucky to have your upbracing humour within your scripts and Dave Thomas with AKUTRS. I am always the optimist QPR Wise, but bloody hell, we are all wearing thin and looking for a consistant turn of form at HOME and away. Watching it on QPRplus Wed night, started ok, crazy pass, but then stayed off leeds team in first half.? Cant quite get my head around it. Hey we move on, Urs. |
| News Comment | Beale elects to take his ‘loyalty and integrity’ elsewhere after all — Column at 15:11:03
Insightful as always Clive. I feel very short changed by the deceit. However, one can learn and as a recruiter, believe the Beale template/background was right for QPR, but even more due diligence on future candidates' motivations and commitment to QPR needed. Must be exhaustive in assessing potential new managers. Lastly, it has not helped my steam, that having viewed the Beale Glasgow Rangers first interview, he mentions the "few" qpr supporters that are disappointed he departed. As Clive eluded too, I also got sucked in, but was always sceptical of such a sweet talker. |
| News Comment | Me, The Auld Fella and Charlie Austin — Column at 11:20:41
Hi Robert-More of a looker than a poster these days. However having read your story on your dad, deep respect mate. In these tough times, OPR ( Yeah I know its the hope that knocks us back) can really be a tonic in keeping us all going. I for one, took great joy from Final Score saying "Seny" goal scorer at the end at Sunderland. I am always optimistic QPR wise and persist that better times are coming for our club and the loyal fans like yourself and your dad. Well done for sharing and sincerely welcome the good times supporting QPR, as a inspiration to you and your dad RIP. Lovely comments on Charlie being your dads favourite and that late goal via WBAi |

Superb Clive and like you say Mark, not just QPR Fans but add the QPR board need to take our comments in. I am forever optimistic, but let see next season. I like a manager who knows so well the QPR DNA, Warbs did. "MarkN added 04:47 - May 11 This article ought to be compulsory reading for QPR fans Clive. Some of the nonsense on the social channels has been hard to consume without flying into an incandescant rage, it's an incredible juxtaposition when you compare it to the standing ovation MW recieved at LR post Shef Utd. A reminder that the keyboard warriors are likely not representative of the genuine fan. Thankyou for the balance of the article and thankyou for illuminating all the good that came from Warburton's tenure at our mad old club. I for one will miss him." |

It takes a great scribe to convey "QPR" in tough disappointing times, over last few months. As always Clive we are so lucky to have you, trying to make sense of it all with appropriate humour to retain sanity. Thanking you sincerely. |

| News Comment | Dykes gathers rich Rangers rewards from dominant Swansea show — Report at 11:12:05
Hi Clive- Wanted to get this in early ahead of the season ending. In what has been a challenging period for many of us, pandemic etc, your brilliant insight to both our beloved club and the world has been really appreciated. Stunners such as "more All The Fin You Can Eat night at The Sizzler." make the reading of your reports always rewarding. Will set you up directly or via other means with a Peroni early next season and pleased your now calling the pub we all love its rightful name the Crown & Sceptre. |

Great work Clive, keep it up. Nice to hear at last ! you have called the Crown & Sceptre the Crown & Sceptre, not the Crown! Must get you the overdue Peroni, its been a while due to one thing and another in these crazy times. |
| News Comment | Six years into a 12-month stay, Hill bids sad farewell — Column at 14:10:28
Hi Clive- saving the best to last is very apt here. That detail on Clint Hill is awesome! If there's any way we can have a means of thanking Clint that would be appreciated. Contributions like his and yours over time don't go unnoticed and is really apprciated. Let's enjoy the summer and see what our beloved club provides us moving forwards. Thank You |
| News Comment | New boys shine in pulsating six goal thriller — report at 19:50:14
Great report Clive and so vivid & interesting. Aided by sky watching one player above the rest raised our tempo and urgency after going 3-2 down. That was Joey Barton. I sensed Burnley would add a 4th, but no Barton pushed our team to a higher tempo and it worked. After the week before (Austin injury) and our own players now also admitting how down they were over it, this could be a very important point gained and physiological plus for the team. We did not look like a team of strangers and for that the management and Harry should take credit. |
| News Comment | The most inevitable 0-0 draw in the history of the sport — report at 10:58:40
Well done Clive for making the "match" report interesting and funny to read. The builders doing Watford’s new stand will be delighted when they return next week. At least 4 balls went over. Yep it was poor viewing, but as in the past, the point we gained (we did gain a point) may well be important later in the season. With Foxes/Derby wins and our melt down at Forest, we all seem to being playing the black picture which is easily changed with a win or two and a few goals.(remember them) PS-Fulhams appointment of Wilkins as assistant coach is neither a step forward or backwards if you recall his nickname.lol 2014 tomorrow lets be positive. We can still get promoted, keep the faith. |
| News Comment | QPR bid farewell to the ‘anti-footballer’ at 14:15:46
Brilliant write up on Shaun Derry. Really appreciate your articulation of QPR over time Clive and into the future. Met you on the Italy tour few years ago now. Also good to see Tony Fernandez watering down the article of our impending record “Fine†outlined in the Daily Wail. They appear to have it in for us, where historically their articles on us have been empty without real facts. Can’t wait to get back into prem and announcement of new ground to add that extra dimension and confidence into our future. Anyone got any news on Kevin Gallen,? thought he was returning in coaching capacity and we need reason to sing his song again. |
