Happy New Year Paul.

I bet you are glad to see the back of 2024. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2025.

Hope the R's give us plenty to smile about this year. The first 45 minutes has been a good start!

Happy New Year My R's - Preview

Fantastic piece Clive.

If you were on trial for the insanity of your devotion to QPR this ‘closing argument’ would see you acquitted.

Happy New Year and thanks for all your hard work on this site which is very much appreciated.

Hope to catch up soon in the C&S, as I will be restricted to watching on TV today - can’t face another soaking in the East Paddock with a bad cold. A home win today would be the best tonic!

Would have liked to see JCS tried instead of Madsen to help shore up the midfield with Morgan tiring. I think he could do a job there when we are defending a lead and under pressure.

Too solid a player for Ange. He seems to prefer that all attack and no-defence type.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Life is never dull following the R's and this message board reflects that with lots of interesting and entertaining discussions.

I hope 2025 is a good year for us all and especially the R's.

Yes. Centre back has to cover Morgan and that helped Jimmy get free at the back post.

Dunne delivers QPR's perfect present - Report

Thanks Saffa. Impressive appearance from the subs bench.

Your report captured the excitement of the match and the sheer pleasure of being there as an R's fan. I loved the line, 'Woodman is helpless and dying of thirst as the giant Irishman makes no mistake'. Brilliant!

End of an Era?
at 19:54 18 Dec 2024

I lived there when it was newly built from 1980 - 1985. Never felt that fans cutting through was a problem then, although I am biased and attended all the matches myself. Very convenient as I'd get home in time for the classified results if I left the ground on the final whistle.

Well deserved recognition for a man who has made a huge difference to so many young lives. Congratulations Dr Mark Prince.

Nice to see another one of our own (my footballing hero) Stan Bowles also get a mention when remembering those we have lost in the past year. I just wished they had used a photo of him in the Hoops (in which he excelled) rather than in an England shirt.

Great song containing a classic line in the chorus;

'As I sat lookin’ up the Guinness ad I could never figure out how your man stayed up on the surfboard after 14 pints of stout.'

When you read that article about his dad, you realise why Jimmy is the type of character he is.

A very impressive young man and a real chip off the old block. One of those players you are proud to have on our team.

Thanks for posting qprmeath21.

Condolences to Jimmy and his family

At times like this family is far more important than football as Brian & Sparkey have said.

“ But a lot of sports regulators are very scared of losing control. They think the best way of having control is to do things secretly. My view is that doesn't work in the long run. It makes people suspicious of you.”

This is exactly the point that Clive makes with regard to Nourry. So applies to senior management in sports as well as regulators.

Celarbrace drags QPR’s team, fans and striker back from the brink – Report

Be nice to see Celar go on a Wardleyesque hot streak of goals now that he’s opened his account, even if it was only for the one season.
