We all knew Briatore and Ecclestone were unpleasant people but happy to take the filthy lucre too. Unpleasantness comes in many forms. The above two could just be utter cnts which itself isn't a crime. Everyone knew Fayed was unpleasant but to what extent? There were no allegations/suggestions that I'm aware of at the time that he was doing what has now come out. It seems it was very well kept under wraps and those that contributed, such as Dr Coxon, should be charged as and when (and hopefully there will be) enough evidence to throw the book at all of them. If you take the stadium as it is and rotate it 90o it will already protrude well into the White City estate. The site is currently wider than it is taller so a non starter. |

Absolutely though with hiding places harder to find I’m hopeful there will be an about turn and they’ll actually do something positive, sort of poacher turning gamekeeper, or at least just stop being involved which will greatly reduce these things happening. I just hope that anyone recently or currently experiencing something like this can have the courage to come forward. It’s a very difficult and brave thing to have to do but there will be support, not judgement, I’m sure. |

Started off when text messages were originally limited to, I think, 256 characters per text and text-speak was born. Problem with it is that people were unable to separate it and continued to type like that when it's no longer necessary. |

Back in the Jimmy Saville days it seemed virtually impossible for the poor people to do anything about it and if they did (via the police, the newspapers etc) it was clearly shut down and they had no other outlet. Forward wind to the early noughties with Al Fayed and it probably wasn't much easier as there wasn't any social media platforms to that degree. Now we're approaching the mid 20's and on the back of this latest revelation I think the government, the monarchy and the police should come and say if anyone is going through this situation here and now that they can contact the appropriate authorities without fear of repercussion, blame or judgement. Money should be set aside to help people if they think they'll lose their job or at least have to leave. Something has to be done to stop the cycle and deal with these monsters at the same time. |

Oh for the love of god no, just no. They’ll be a thousand times more insufferable than the PL clubs leaving. [Post edited 25 Sep 20:48]

I know we disagree about stuff from time to time on here but on the whole I really hope this forum doesn't go. Having to join somewhere that is a totally alien place would just finish me for football. People may see that as me being a dinosaur but I don't care. Home is where the heart is and it certainly is not at a PL, bantz-ridden, Ladbrokes lads, "who is your PL team?", half-and-half scarf, "I support Son/Haaland/Ronaldo/Messi*", Champions League night get the pizza & beers in lads, tiktok channel, etc etc type of place. * delete as applicable, though it could be all of them anyway. |

Yes. I don't give a fk that it upsets the big boys because the likes of UEFA add ever more games to their competitions. Why should clubs like Barrow get denied the opportunity to play at a PL ground? |

I remember in the home leg he got wolf-whistled due to his flowing locks. A few weeks later he was a QPR player, and a damned fine one at that. |

They changed the name from the "European Cup" to the "Champions League". All they now need to do is re-brand it by merging the two names and you get the "European League". |

OK, if they are playing the second team and are at home, then have severely reduced tickets prices. Give the fans the option to go along or not. |

If he's been tracking him, why is he asking if anyone knows where he is?? |

If lower leagues attendances are slowly rising due to people being out priced in the PL (and even the Championship) what's the odds on those clubs putting up ticket prices, because greed always comes first? One of my sons youth team mates and his mum regularly watch Chelsea ladies, have been doing so long before the lionesses came along and made ladies football what it is today. They could easily get tickets, prices were reasonable etc but now prices are going up and they are being squeezed out as trying to get family tickets together is near on impossible at Kingsmeadow. This has all happened in just 2-3 years. They do sometimes play at Stamford Bridge but that is not part of the normal season ticket and is a separate 'deal' altogether. Fans just get fleeced. |

I live in Brentford 'territory' and a lot of the kids & parents in my sons youth team are all ST holders or regular goers but they too are now showing signs of PL fatigue. Whereas they had gone to all the big away games too they just don't anymore. "Been there, done that, got the tshirt.... and a few hundred quid worse off each time" especially now as they're coming away with a defeat whereas before they actually got something out of the game. |
