| Forum Thread | Faurlin & Granero hold the key to our season. at 22:35 3 Sep 2012
The most encouraging thing about the City game for me was the way we managed to keep sustained possession in the opposition half after going 2-1 down. I think anyone who has watched us away in the prem, especially after Faurlin's injury, would agree our ball retention has been horrendous at the best of times, particularly in the rare forages we make across the half way line. You could argue City kept us at arms length and were happy to hit us on the break but they didn't look too comfortable from where I was sitting (in my armchair). Granero and Ale showed flashes of great understanding during their time on the pitch together and it's likely their partnership is going to be crucial to our chances this season. They both know how to keep and use the ball effectively and with the attacking options we now possess out wide and through the middle we have the potential to cause some serious damage this season. Provided Ale can get back to the level he reached before injury and Granero can adjust to the Prem I honestly believe we may have one of the best midfield pairings outside the top 4. They're both at a great age and still have plenty to prove. Anyone else as excited as me? |
| Forum Thread | Falsley accused of train fare evasion at 22:01 29 Jun 2012
Received a letter today from London Overground ordering me to cough up 125 quid or see them in court in two weeks. I'm not overly worried as I can prove my whereabouts on the day of the alleged incident, however it does make me wonder how my details got into to their hands. Is it a simple case of someone giving false details to a inspector? This is the only realistic scenario I can think of. I have never used a registered Oyster card and never travel on the route they say I dodged the fare on. I know it's a weird thing to post but I'm struggling to find any info online about this kind of situation. Would really appreciate any help anyone could give me. Cheers. |

Perhaps not of all time but Alex Bonnot and Aziz Ben Askar were a key part of the team in the early period of our first season in div 2. Never really got the recognition they deserved IMO. |

"Shola Ameobi scored a late winner to rescue a point for Newcastle in a bad-tempered derby against Sunderland, who had two players sent off." Quality journalism. |

I'm a long term lurker and avid reader of this site but don't usually feel compelled to get into debates (especially those that concern world affairs). However, I think you are spouting just the kind of propoganda the Syrian ruling class want the world to believe. It's a rather loose analogy but your post smacks of the "ITK" bollocks that is usually the preserve of Fantasy Island. I'm far from an expert on middle eastern politics, but it's evident that many people with no extreme religious or political agenda are being killed in Syria for simply expressing a desire for change in their country. You only have to glance at the subject on youtube or any other video upload website to grasp that fact. I agree you cannot trust the western media to provide a completely accurate picture of what is happening and the myriad of different groups involved in this situation, but you're simplifying an issue that cannot just be boiled down to "Jihadists" and subterfuge of the West. |

Going to ring the club now. Maybe they're treating people like me who renewed using Zebra Finance with even more contempt than the average "punter". |
