Makes perfect sense to me . Charles decent but not prem standard imo . Let’s hope we can sort something.
Russell Martin has said he also wants another striker after we sign Diaz so I guess Ross Stewart is not an option. |

Yes still young and knows where the net is . As you say 6 goals in 14 games in a very very poor sheff Utd side is good. A good bit of business if it comes off . Saints create chances there’s no doubt about that. I’m Happy about this and still room for other signings . |

It’s looking increasingly unlikely that we can afford Matt O Riley from Celtic and it’s obvious that Russell Martin wants to buy him and we also need a centre forward and goalkeeper .
Probably the only way we’re going to be able to get more in is to sell a big one like KWP . Sugawara looks more than capable of filling his shoes.

For me personally other great goals which stand out for me which I saw live and created crazy scenes

Barry Horne last minute equaliser at the Dell v Bolton to rescue the cup tie , many fans including myself were already walking towards the exits then a massive rush back again . Great scenes

He didn’t get that much of a look in under previous managers in the prem he was in and out of the team . RM has stood by him and his confidence has greatly improved. |

Completely disagree wiz sorry, I though he was one of our best players towards the end of last season say last 10 games or so . I know it’s a different level but I think him , Armstrong , Alcaraz , Downes, Taylor, Harwood Bellis Bednarek will be ok but we do need another 3/4 quality players
.keeper, midfielder x2 and a good striker imo it’s so hard to find the right ones at the right price though mate.
Hopefully we’ll get O Riley from Celtic but I just can’t see saints stumping up 25 million which is what they want. [Post edited 24 Jul 17:01]

An enjoyable evening in the sunshine watching a decent Saints team who completely dominated. I was surprised saints put out such a strong team because I’ve been to a few of these games over the years and they don’t usually go that strong.
Stand out players for me Amo Ayew , Alcaraz ( great to see him back ) Sugawara and Armstrong . |

As I said before we can’t afford a proven decent premier league striker. We need to find another Sadio Mane from somewhere( as in unproven at the time of purchase but huge potential )otherwise we’re in trouble I think.
Adams, Armstrong and Mara not good enough for Premier league it’s been proven. Who knows what Stewart will bring .
