391 tickets allocated and sold out for Norwich. What a joke! Can anyone help us to get four please?

I've got to say, I thought we'd take less that 300 to Norwich due to the kick off time, it being a Sunday and a lot coming back from St Gallen.

Whilst it was never going to be a massive away following, I'd rather the club take what would - in the great scheme of things - be a pittance of a loss in the cause of ensuring as many fans as possible can be there to support the team, rather than take the other option.

391 seems awfully low to set the bar. Far rather they'd stumped up for 1000 and taken the loss on any unsold.

Yep, 100% agree with you.

I was just surprised that we sold out that number so quickly considering the circumstances. We obviously have a better away following than I thought.

Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

Both spot on. The following is the team and they wont help us get four. We are just two short now and both the club and Norwich say there is nothing they can do. Why not keep 500 send the rest back. So childish with 391.

They could have given any unsold tickets to the DVLA

That would be too much like common sense. You have to think for these poor directors dividend at the end of the next year and the millions they are sponging of us.

There have been a number of absolutely shocking decisions made by the club regarding away tickets overthe last 2 seasons. Yes we took a 600 seat hit against v QPR last season.

However, that should not be used as an excuse for such poor judgments on away allocations requested. Aston Villa last season we only requested the lower tier for one of our 'local derbies' fortunately we were given 600 more on request.

What happens could be then be seen as extremely problematic because fans look for tickets in the home sections. Which could lead to series trouble.

Another thing that really annoyed me last season was the fact that Manchester United only gave us 1,000 odd tickets for our trip to Old Trafford with them being requested by Man Utd to take the lower amount. How were we rewarded for this gesture?

Very impressed we've sold even 400 tickets for this, but it is a very strange amount. Some clarification of it is warranted as the low amount flies against everything we've heard about what number of tickets we have to offer.

Criticise as much as you want but saying 'and the millions they are sponging off us' ?

Sad.

Dividends are an emotive issue. Wouldn't do any harm for the club to realise that.

£2m paid out in dividends whilst ticket prices remain stupidly high.

How else is he supposed to put it?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

1000 to St Gallen. 391 to Norwich.

On a related issue, does anyone know what our allocation is for the Villa game on the 28th?

As far as I remember the £2m paid out was the first dividend paid out. Have there been any others in the last 10 years ? (correct me if my memory is playing tricks with me).

If my memory is correct using the word 'sponging' is sad.

They've rewarded themselves handsomely (not to mention the increased value of their shareholdings) yet continued to take every opportunity to charge the fans as much as they think they can get away with.

"Sponging" might be a strong word but the principle behind it is bang on.
