Sone "stadium food" in the States 19:27 - Nov 15 with 4555 views | Davillin | No pies here, but have a look. p.s. The Philly Cheesesteak looks modest, but it is delicious. If you ever get to Philly - fora game or a visit - do have one on your first day there. You'll go back for more. Remember going to Mansfield away back in League 2 and the selection of delicacies on offer was pretty much limited to....: 'Pie' No further elaboration was offered, not meat pie or chicken pie or veg pie, just.... ...Pie...

Sone "stadium food" in the States on 20:58 - Nov 15 with 3370 views | union_jack | Things are a lot more relaxed at US stadia. I was lucky enough to go see the KC Royals in the early 80s. The food selection on the concourse was really good - quality and choice. I remember a young girl sitting in front of me watching the game and doing her homework at the same time. Good days.

Why post this?? Bloke makes a decent contribution to a forum and then just gets abuse, no need whatsoever. In other news Dav, the selection looks cracking!! Definitely want to go to a NFL game one day, will have to be the Steelers, and now have to add an NHL game at the Bruins just for the Lobster roll!!

Remember the praise for the Aggborough pies. I have been to Kiddie for a game but didn't eat anything, seems they came at a price though... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-19987326 I don't tend to buy any food or drink at the football, tight as an italian's underpants. I'm more likely to be nibbling on a Nature Valley cereal bar that I brought in. Rock'n'roll... [Post edited 15 Nov 2013 21:38]

Those Kidderminster pies were great untill I saw Phil Dillon completely covering one with red and brown sauce at the same time and seeing it off in about three bites put me right off it did.

They were lush but they weren't like real pies they were cottage pies in a foil dish.

Bloody stick in the mud! Aggborough pies made you proud to be British. If UKIP seized on the Aggborough pie, nobody would be able to get rid of the buggers!

Sone "stadium food" in the States on 01:50 - Nov 16 with 2840 views | ItchySphincter | Never been to Philly but I once got very p!ssed in Indianapolis and walked in to Steak And a Shake and had a lovely burger. They just scooped up the ground beef with what looked like an ice cream scoop and shaped it on the hot plate. Yum. The maddest pie I ever had was in Rotherham the year before we won the Champs up there. I went to the back of the stand to get a pie for me and a mate and it took me half an hour to get back as they were so hot I couldn't walk more than a few paces without having to put them down. You'd need a mouth made of asbestos to eat those pies. There was a steward there with a face like a chewed up toffee and I couldn't help wondering if he'd taken a pie in the chops. Ahhhhh.........

Sone "stadium food" in the States on 07:27 - Nov 16 with 2797 views | jandyt | The worst pie I ever had was at Bury back in the late 80s or early 90s. Optimistically described as 'meat and potato', under the sale if goods act it should have been called 'potato and potato'- the highlight was a still frozen lump of gristle! Best pastie in the league was obviously Exeter City with Torquay in second place. Plymouth, despite being the closest club to Cornwall and being sponsored by a pastie company had pasties inferior to the old North Bank pasties originally packaged in a warm paper bag whilst the product inside remained cold- a snack which mirrored the Swansperformances for many years. I can't fail to notice that since we've had warm pies we've reached the PL! On that basis though, I suppose Kidderminster would consistently win both the Champions League and Super Cup!
