This has been my worry with Redknapp from the start that he will get rid of Taarabt , Faurlin etc
We're stuck with Henry and O'Neil and Redknapp walks away in October/Nov when we're midtable leaving us with all the players we hated and the players we like sold or loaned out |

I had those fears as well, BUT...
Harry has started Faurlin in both games so far, and it says Fulham are interested - this doesn't mean we've sent Faurlin's name about as up for sale - it's far more likely his agent is trying to get him a new deal so creating some interest elsewhere.

I sincerely hope that this is a wind up.
To loose Taarabt - I can understand and relucatnatly accept.
But to loose ale Faulin when be both wants to play for us and is also showing signs of his previous good form will be painful and very annoying. Plain stupid in my opinion.
Should it happen, I will be interested to hear what Tony F tweets as apparantly he is his favourite player.

Would seem unlikely - you don't change a winning team and that's something I reckon Redknapp would adhere to. Faurlin has been a big part of winning the first couple of games so there's no reason to sell a player that you have been starting - there are no financial pressures to do so. Are there any clauses to get some of these players back if needed. I understand they need to cut the wage bill but by loaning these players out for the season they are expecting us to get promoted at the first time of asking. There has to be a balance between these loans and us actually having the possibility of going back up. I love Tarbs but i dont mind him leaving as i think he would have a negative effect. similarly Remy(I hope there is not a buy out clause in his contract next year) It is very unigue that just shows what a disaster we made of last season that alot of our players are wanted by prem teams and we are willing to loan them out for the year. Enough have been loaned now. Getting rid of the likes of Cesar, SWP, and Anton would be next on the agenda for me not letting "the right sort" leave of a loan FFS. | | | |
