Its no surprise he beat you to it Roccy, he is 8 or so hours ahead of us lot.
11 hrs at the moment. So tomorrow will be sunny. In NZ they dont call them crisps, they are known as Chips. If you want Chips you have to ask for Hot Chips. Proof in this Ad...if you can understand the accents.
That's all well and good but what constitutes a 'snack'? Clarity is needed before we go nailing our snack favourites to the mast. The FRED is labelled 'crisps'. This implies a potato based bagged hunger delaying delight. Where as 'snack' can open up a whole different market. Is a mini pork pie a snack? pepperami? Pre packed sandwiches from Asda?
You see my quandary downunder? I just want clarity. Is that too much?

Too true, that fat bloke off that TV programme the other week classed Fish and Chips as a mid afternoon snack, I think it was Eamon Holmes.
I'm sorry. I'll have to step in here, the original question was 'what is your favourite crisps', and as col rightly has pointed out half of the chosen food are corn or cereal based snacks. When the like of Scampi Fries get mentioned and the poster then posts the picture that clearly says 'cereal snack', it makes a bit of a mockery of the thread. You wouldn't say Alan Reeves if you were asked 'who is your favourite striker?' This is the equivalent of putting Frazzles as your favourite crisp. Hold your hands in shame. I'd expect better from this website, and some of the answers are offensive to the proper crisp eating fraternity. Think before you post, is this a corn or cereal based snack? If it is then start a FRED of your own, your sort aren't welcome here.
Gotta agree with your post, plenty of cereal offenders on this subject.
There is nothing finer than a packet of seabrooks salt and vinegar crisps, sprinkled haphazardly between two slices of well buttered (Lurpak) thickly cut crusty white bread.
Its a bit of a bugger to eat, i went through a spell of eating this sandwich in bed whilst watching match of the day which resulted in a domestic dispute at the time.
