Well dont give up yet guys, we all saw last season with city winning the prem that in football anything can happen. The state that Vale were in at the end of last season, after going into admin and most of our best players leaving the team i would have thought we should have been in a relegation battle this season. Its been prity tight at the top this season minus Gillingham and the teams in the play off spots have been changing almost every week, Like you guys said Bradford have some very difficult fixtures comming up, if you beat us at the weekend it might look a different picture by next week. If we win on Sat, we may gain promotion on Tuesday as there are some teams playing tuesday night so we really to come at you! should be a great game |
For the record, we beat Gillingham at their place and drew at Spotland. We seem to perform better against the sides higher up the table. Cheltenham were thumped here 4 - 1 so it might be a tough match for you.
Anyway, you'll surely prefer to get the necessary points at Vale Park.  |  |

Hey Guys, Sorry just wanted to applogise as a vale fan like somebody else has already done on this post, I couldnt give a crap about all the banter Im just really looking forward to what i think will be a great game to watch, bought tickets for this one a few weeks back and have been looking forward to it since. It also looks like you have a chance of reaching playoffs too after the 4-2 win over southend so both teams will be really up for it, Should make a great game and i think either team could win think it will just come down to form on the day, Vale have a habbit of being inconsistant! |

Well id hope so!! Vale also seem to do well against the top half of the table, always play poor against lower sides. We have a habbit of matching the quality of the team we are playing. We have played great against Gillingham, Burton etc but terrible against AFC Wimbledon, Barnet,Aldershot. With you guys being Mid-table/top half i really dont know what to expect!! After watching us thump Burton 7-1 last week i think we can beat anyone, problem is that different players turn up for different games. We only had one change in our side against aldershot form Burtons game and played the worst football i have seen us play in some time. If our Left winger Myrie-Williams is on form we should score plenty of goals. Who are the top players to look out for in your team? |  | | |

Thanks, Yeah well hughes prity much gets horrific abuse in every game we play, he really divided opinions when he joined us, it does seem to spur him on tho. He was pratically getting Death treats from the Gillimgham fans at thiers then a few mins later he went on and scored and went over to celebrate in front of them. Opposing fans will hate him, but he knows how to score so as long as hes scoring Vale fans (mostly) love him. Hope its a good game and looking forward to it! | | | |
