Im a bit worried about the Grimes and Kennedy situation. They both arrived on free's and neither are better players than when we got them - we havent developed them like other players weve sold in Jan so I dont know why we'd expect to make any profit on either? For Coleman to more or less say - 'If they dont re-sign they can leave because we cant afford them to run down their contracts'? is a strange one. Cant see us replacing Kennedy with anything better so its daft to let him go in Jan. I thought Tutte was in the same situation? Was he not mentioned? |  |

And then, he went onto say that the ones leaving would be fringe players earning a few hundred quid a week, but the ones he wants to bring in, may command wages over £1000 a week and the budget won't allow that. He even said that the budget he was led to believe he would get, when he took the job, hasn't materialised, although I took that with a pinch of salt as our relegation will have altered anything that might have been muted. He stated that Kennedy and "Tutty" were amongst the higher earners and would free up bigger funds, but he didn't want to let these players leave as they are too important to the squad.
So basically, he's trying to improve the defence on a shoe string. Has it ever been any different? |  |

After the comments re Cav and the lack of width I left feeling completely baffled, the results with Cav as captain have been crap but it's the fans fault for jumping on the bad passes. Allied with the remarks about the best teams in the world not using width, although the last time we won a game we did it from out wide. There will be no changes in formations or team selections it seems, very very worried for the rest of the campaign..... |

It's no surprise that the budget hasn't materialised as there will be fook all of the projected income, given the decimated home attendance etc. |  |

I totally agree with this that's why i chosen to do my Xmas shopping ready so everything is wrapped then i can have Boxing Day and 29th with no worries still debating on Mad Friday all depends on this week if i go or not.
