That's not right. 21 years is Norway's maximum sentence but if he's deemed a danger to society he can be detained indefinitely. he can appeal that every five years but they're never letting him out. |  | | |

According to the Beeb website.
Prosecutors had called for him to be considered insane.
The five judges were unanimous in ruling that Breivik was sane.
He was convicted of terrorism and premeditated murder, and given the maximum sentence of 21 years' imprisonment.
However, that can be prolonged at a later date if he is deemed to remain a danger to society.

He's never getting out ..Reminds me of a prog (think it was Louie whatisname)about paedo's in USA .When they finish their sentence they are sent to a 'hospital' to receive treatment untill they are deemed fit to go back into society.Hardly any of them are 'cured' . At least VERY long sentences .Mostly the dirty c@nts never smell freedom again .Everyones happy.. |  |

The paedophiles were housed in a 'rehabilitation center' and offered the choice of living out their days there, or undergoing 'rehabilitation' with the possibility of release. Realistically only a handful had ever been deemed to be no longer a risk, and of them, it was basically impossible to ever release them to a safe environment with US law stating neighbours MUST be told you are a sex offender. | | | |
