Is going to be spectacular. And wet (just to make it quintessentially British).

Rule, Britannia.

Just making my way back from the River Pageant and I can say that despite the weather, the lack of views for many people the amount of people that turned out was incredible, the crowds were young and old, of all different creeds and cultures and there was a magnificent atmosphere throughout despite standing around for hours waiting. The Union Jack was everywhere, kids waving them on buildings and people dressed in it. Made you feel bloody proud to be British as only this country could ever do such a thing. Glad I went and experienced the day.

April 23rd! Yeah I celebrate St George's Day, and I also celebrate my birthday on that day.

You can shove a republic up your arse!

Good work fella!

Just got back. Very difficult to get anyhere near the riverbank unless you arrived early. I didn't, I arrived at 1.30pm! So, after no luck at London Bridge area I decided to walk east beyond Tower Bridge and down Jamaica Road, just past Bermondsey tube station and then found a spot where there weren't too many people. I managed to get a place right by the wall which was great as more people arrived, it became deeper.

Didn't get to see the Queen as she stopped at Tower Bridge but saw all the boats go by which was great. The biggest floatilla on the Thames since the 17th Century and probably won't be repeated in our lifetime.

Absolutely brilliant day and a great time for the country. Now on to tomorrow's beacon lighting festivities!

God save The Queen. God save the Union.

You can't always rely on imaginary friends to save you.........because imaginary or not.....they might not be friends.
