I like the home kit, shame it's a bit similar to this years though. I will probably get it because like a mug I got Barton on the back of this years home kit!
The away... wow, just awful! Needs to be worn with black shorts for a start but it truly is disgusting and straight out of the lotto recycling bin. Lotto are yet to pull a nice kit out of their arse. Bring back Le Coq!
I said it on a previous post about new kits that I would hate us to wear an all-red kit because of my life-long history of hatred towards teams that wear all red.
Born hating Independiente (Agüero's maiden club, nicknamed Red Devils), grew up hating ManUtd and Liverpool. I couldn't think of a team wearing all-red that I don't hate. Maybe the Belgium national side. I don't mind them at all. Or Spain in recent years because I like how they play but they're not too close to my heart either.
So there you go. That's why I don't like the away kit.
But I won't hold it against Tony or the board. They are doing such a wonderful job and they are making us all believe in QPR and have faith thinking of the future.
Home kit? I quite like it! I don't mind thinner hoops. I think not even Lotto could make a horrible kit when you have blue and white hoops to play around.
Our away style is really red *and* black.
Even when we had all red shirts at the 1982 FA Cup Final we had black shorts and socks:
Couldn't stand this years kit so I see this an improvement. Still bloody love our Championship winning jersey with the wide hoops and the red trim. Away kit... well its not great but better than the mango. So long as TF is keeping his focus on the squad I'm happy.
Maybe the away top is more about airasia branding and less about selling kits (or tradition); it's exactly the same colours as their corporate colours and what better way to brand you team than in front of (potentially) millions.
The red away kit. Maybe it's got something to do with the belief (like Cardiff's owners) that red is a lucky colour in the far east. Aren't we doing a pre season tour of the far east?
I like the amount of hoops from this year and the new one. Not keen on the white shoulders or the entire away kit. I'll save judgement until the all hooped kits the season after next.
It's almost as if it's hard to please everyone, ain't it?

I would guess that this has more than a little to do with it. Those knocking red... the 82 with black shorts was great. At a time when I bought shirts, that was my preferred choice that year. Now if we could just emulate teh FA Cup Final appearance and though it was Div 2 ... a similar end of season position (7th I think and if we hadnt lost to bloody Luton, we might well have made it)
Like the home kit, the away kt once again looks like something Lotto had lying around at the back of the shop although it' better than the orange monstrosity of last season.
