i am steve claridge and i am the king

we will be playing the team from turf moor
let's hope that in their goal we will score
a poor performance could end up costing
they'll score some goals with charlie austin
the team is managed by eddie howe
but a walkover performance we will not allow
our new signings and triallists will be summoned
expect danny coid and stuart drummond
i will go to this pre-season match
and the dale-fan syndrome i hope to catch

Would think that Burnley would have had a big say in exactly when the game was played, they might have specific dates when they want matches in pre-season.
