3 observations from TDS 01:10 - Feb 19 with 1971 views | bigchin | If we're talking petulance, Grimes would fit in well at Bournemouth - the number of times one of their stroppy friggers punched the floor in the tds goalmouth today was unreal! Couple of other observations from my vantage point today: The meatheads shouting obscenities at the lad with the broken leg - please just stop coming to matches - just stay in the boozer and listen to gmr. Funny to see their keeper getting riled by abuse he deservedly received in first half. Also funny to see a passionate fan (don't know his name but most of tds will know him) having a proper do with Pete Woodhouse. Couldn't hear what it was about but it looked quite heated!

The incident below may or may not be linked to the opening post. All I will say, there was an incident where a 'club employee' pushed past a 76 year old man 4 times (to get to a seat the row behind him), the forth time nearly knocking him over. When the elderly gentleman asked him to watch out, he was ALLEGEDLY told to 'P!ss off', i then challenged him about this, ALLEGEDLY i got told to piss off and accused of being on drugs! Though at games it may seem as though I am, I have never taken drugs in my life! The 'club employee's' diffence was then to ALLEGEDLY argue he was telling the elderly gentleman to P!ss Off and not me!!!!!! So thats ok then? I was then told that he would get me thrown out of the ground (i have missed 7 home games in over 25 years) which i thought was nice of him, what for I dont know. I fully expect now to be targeted by stewarts every time i stand up, or try to get behind the team, because he(or she) has friends inside the club! I invited the Club employee to apologise before the end of the game and it would be forgotten, he(or she) chose not to. I had thought of reporting his(or her) behaviour, but I would never damage the club, especially knowing that all commercial activities are going so well and the club never miss out on any new initiatives. I am not painting myself as an angel, but the elderly gentleman who has also supporten the club over 25 years did not deserve this, I will be at Charlton, Colchester and Notts County, I hope the elderly gentleman will be at the Notts County game, but this is in doubt, sadly. "I have never taken drugs in my life! " Not even an asprin? More seriously, why help preserve this reprobate's anonymity ("he (or she) ...")? [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

biggest mistake the club employee made was keeping at it when it was all clearly a misunderstanding, never seemed to let it go.

With all these 'allegations' about a club employee, it would surely be better to let the club officially investigate the matter, and give the employee a chance to defend himself. Others who were uninvolved must have seen and heard what went on, so instead of using these boards to effectively condemn the said individual, why not get it out in the open, report it, and let the club deal with it. It doesn't matter whether you have watched Dale for 25 seasons or 25 minutes. What happened, happened yesterday and has no bearing on where you will be on Tuesday, next Saturday or at any time in the future. If you don't want to report it to the club, don't report it on here.

1) Because I dont want to report it to club and wish the employee well, I just hope he learns that he has responsibilities and perhaps could have handled himself better. 2)I was enlightening TVOS 3)How can I condemn somebody who's name, age or sex hasnt been confirmed? 4) You aint ma Dad, so i'll post what I like!

"I had thought of reporting his behaviour, but I would never damage the club, especially knowing that all commercial activities are going so well and the club never miss out on any new initiatives Reading the above line makes it clear that it was a male employee with the bad attitude, it really should be reported because this kind of behaviour can not be allowed from a club employee, it puts the club in a bad light and needs clearing up, that is of course your decision at the end of the day. disgraceful behaviour if true...

I'm sure there was an (or her) in the post when I typed it out!lol! It was yesterday, so its history as far as I am concerned, if the C.E. just perhaps handles him/herself a bit better next time, some good has come of it.

You are a more forgiving man than myself, he would have been told in no uncertain terms where to go if it had been me, either that or a swift backhander....
