Pete Hannam RIP 16:58 - Feb 25 with 809 viewsjonahwhereru

Sadden to rely the passing of Pete Hannam. He first walked up to Spotland for a match at the age of 8, and was a fixture at home and many away games thereafter. His final game being just on Saturday. Laterly being the organiser of the Comrades Club box at the ground.
He drove for Nutalls for donkeys years and also captained Castleton darts team.
Condolences to all the family.

Pete Hannam RIP on 09:34 - Feb 26 with 408 viewsmingthemerciless

I was a classmate of Peters at Rochdale Technical School back in the early 1960’s. We had some great times together and I still have many happy memories of our years at the Tech. Most people won’t know this but Peter was a terrific schoolboy boxer who fought all the way to the English Schools Final where he unfortunately lost. We lost touch after leaving school but I alway think of him when I see his name on that wall of fame on the stairs in the main stand.

RIP Pete, thanks for the memories.
