Essential viewing for the like of me, Kensal Riser and Hubble would be familiar and, should tweak everybody's interest at about 10.50.

Jules is brilliant.

We had a good old session in The Salusbury, Boz, do you remember, seems like years ago now. I spend far more time in the bookshop than I do in the pub these days....!

Love that.
The Mrs lived on Harvist Road when I first met her and I was working in Ladbroke Grove at the time.
Spent most of the late 90s in the Corrib Rest, the North Pole, the Salusbury, The Elgin, Paradise bar, William IV, the Western Arms etc etc etc.
Then get a post-pub curry at Curry Nights with a complimentary sambuca at the end and a rose for the lady.

The lanky Belsize Park man has hundreds of vids up on Youtube, there are few not worth a good gawp.

Loved that. Thanks for posting. Ive never lived in London but my parents lived in fifth avenue as children and that brought back memories of trips to see my grandparents and walking round the cemetery on a Sunday afternoon. Just added his books to my Christmas list. Which so far reads 1 Beer, 2 London walk books.
Nowadays, I just go to the pub and Loftus Road. I’ll have to do an extended visit some time.

I enjoy Joolz Guides as well. He always gives an entertaining and interesting talk.

I also enjoy John Rogers' talks. He has loads of London walks on his channel and here's one most should find interesting.

I've been a subscriber to Joolz Guides on youtube for several years now, and would recommend him if you're interested in London history, spotting the clues still there, and how areas have changed.

All really interesting content even if you're not that familiar with an area, and I quite like his delivery style.

Wonderful video of my manor - I had a Mes pie (ox cheek) and mash and gravy for my dinner just last night! Highly recommended if you’re in the area and prices aren’t silly either, the owner is a top bloke

Love John Roger’s videos. I bought his book - This Other London. Worth a read if you like his work.

If you’re into ‘psychogeography’ I highly recommend the work of Patrick Keiller, particularly his film ‘London’ and book: The View from the Train: Cities and other landscapes.
