Sorry if this is a Ferdy. I haven’t noticed comments on it, I’m not sure why.
Such a good interview. So positive to hear all that. Makes me look forward to the future. “Alignment” throughout the club. Plan to commence this summer. He explains it pretty well.
This is why consistency and longevity in our manager is so important . Luke must be backed and only allowed to leave at top top price.

Let's hope he sticks around. The last fellow Goldie legged it with Martin. The job has been a hot potato.
I agree. Priorities need to be retaining the back room staff, over players. Williams, Levy and Margetson are far more important to this club that any individual player.
This is where the strong foundations of a club should begin. Good to see talk of alignment through the club, should have been there along. Been watching a series with my kids about the Crystal Palace academy, they were explaining they are releasing young players who a few years ago they would have rated highly and kept. But now they only want players who can play the same style as the first team. Makes sense bringing players through who actually have a chance of first team football.

I agree, I was very surprised when he said it was a new thing. I know it’s difficult without continuity with managers, but “The Swansea Way” init. He did also say that they have made that into a proper definition now, so everyone knows what they need to work towards. I’d like to hear more about that and see what they’ve come up with.
