Can't really see beyond a home win here but you never know!

Once more, really don’t understand why Keohane isn’t starting.

No John or Uchegbulam either.

Being negative I’d just be happy if our goal difference figure wasn’t drastically affected this afternoon.

McNulty team selection is as bad as his tactics! Mellor starting, yet Sinclair on the bench, East on the bench, Keohane on the bench, No John. Yet he starts with Gordon and Armstrong, it is if he does want to win games.

Something very wrong here with players on the bench and I suspect it’s more than just a normal team pick. Absolutely no reason why jimmy would be on the bench all these weeks without injury. It’s very very broken .

Maybe can't afford the win bonuses.

Maybe some players have appearance bonuses or options that kick in for next season after so many appearances that we just can't afford to pay?

We're playing pretty well, and certainly had the best chances, but also defended well when required - unfortunately with our inconsistency it's unlikely we'll replicate that in the second half.

We’re playing a lot more direct today, but all it’s doing now is inviting pressure back on us as no one is really holding the ball up. We started the better, I felt, and we’ve had a couple of chances, and we have defended valiantly, even desperately at times, but perhaps crave a bit more possession second half?

I’ve lost count of the amount of blocks, lunges and tackles that have ensured Brooks hasn’t had much to do.

We can’t carry on like that though. They will score at some point. We need to hold onto the ball better and do what we were good at before Christmas - mix it up and pick the gap.

Good to see the ref standing firm in the face of the home crowd after some awful acting from Dobra.

The darkest hour is just before the dawn....Chesterfield have steamrollered this division... a point would be sensational but a loss is entirely understandable.

Whatever happens, to come back from two down after a week like this illustrates what a great group of players and management staff we have. They’re far from perfect or even that good, but they care as much as any Dale side we’ve had.

Sounds like we mixed up the play better again today as well.

No quit in these lads for most of the season barring a few flat performances where we've looked knackered and the awfully timed 4 game losing streak.

Edit some last ditch defending to try to get to FT. Bodies literally thrown at everything
