Just watching this morning's programme what really strikes me is the people making fraudulent claims for injury are wasting the NHS time.

Why don't the NHS pursue these people for compensation if they've been found guilty of insurance fraud?

It just seems these days if you are involved in an accident people go straight to A&E that's ok if you're seriously injured but some are taking the mick

It's not that easy to get compensation. there are long rigorous procedures

I think you will find that if you are involved in an accident you are advised to go to hospital to be checked over.

That might be so but people are abusing the system when not genuinely having an accident or playing on it

It would probably help if it was easier to make an appointment to see a doctor.

Wouldn't disagree with you on that.

But my point is watching this programme and the convictions for fraud people basically making up accidents the NHS should be able to take action

I know they do for other forms of fraud such as expenses
