20 years ago today we were preparing for a season that would end up 21st in the bottom division. Brian Flynn would indeed keep us up. We literally couldn’t cut it any finer before falling out of the football league.
Certainly not among our most successful seasons.
So you can’t think of anyone better in the last two decades and are simply saying he’s better than the likes the PE teacher Kevin Cullis?

Certainly is Keith, that's why I am not making a big song and dance 2 games into the league season.
Been quiet this week as I am away in Majorca, so my absence is only for a short period.
Spoken to Boro, Coventry, Blackburn and QPR fans this week.....all see us as a mid table club. Got into a discussion with them about some wanting the club to get rid of Martin, the response as you could understand was only after 2 games!!!
Discussed that some think we were better than 15th and should be pushing for the play offs

Just two games???? He’s been here a whole season and we’re going backwards. It was clear to me for the last ten or so games he should have been booted out in the summer - he couldn’t motivate the players and they seem to dislike him.
If anyone thought that this season it was all going to be better (after witnessing those last 10 or so games) they need a reality check! It’s never going to happen for him here or in my honest opinion anywhere. He lacks everything a good coach or manager should have. |  |

It comes from you engaging with Dr. P, Onehung and others on this thread, you are with out doubt very wrong with your opinion on Martin and have now realised, this and that is why many of your answers to them now has quite a bit of backtracking in them a roundabout way of waving the white flag so to speak, however you will not be removed from the name and shame list once it is published no matter how you try. | | | |
