Cracking game of Rugby that, felt we had a try in us win Biggar kicked that drop goal, but I suppose it was an easy 3pts, under the cosh after it though.

Got to say, cause I'm always the first to criticise the Ref, but I thought he added to the game excellent refereeing display.

Agreed.
Nigel O rates him highly.
Fair and consistent to both sides

Basham could have been carded last minute

Hogg should have gone in first half as well, a clear deliberate knock on, but I agree Basham probably got away with one, which would have been a shame cause he was excellent.

Moriarty makes a big difference in our backrow.

I don't understand why he kicked to the corner twice and we were camped on their goal line, then he risked a drop goal...

If he'd missed it might have been very different.

Oh well, all good in the end and it was a good game. I just hope tomorrow is as entertaining!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I agree, when Finn Russell got himself sin binned I thought...
Kick a penalty and have the ball kicked back to you and then you get most of the 10 mins against 14 men to try and create that try.
Once he kicked to the corner I thought, 'he's decided this is our best chance to score a try' (doesn't fancy our chances after the reset from the kick)...and then he chose to kick to the corner again.
So for me, having spent 3/4mins of the 10 trying to get the try and a desperate Scotland giving deliberate pens away...risking a 2nd yellow card...then for me you stick at it until you get your try and/or the 2nd Scotland player binned.
I was shocked when Biggar dropped it, but fortunately it was enough.

95% of the time that they kicked the ball to us, they ended up turning us over and coming away with the ball and ended up in and around our 22, they were under the cosh and down to 14 and a try was coming,, yet BIggs chose to kick the drop goal, but then that put us under pressure cause yet again Scotland won their Kick out, luckily it turned out to be a good decision and we won.

Not deriding Biggar cause he was superb all game, but that decision could have bitten us on the arse.

Some excellent performances today, by players that are growing in the team,

When he took the drop goal, we already had a penalty awarded, so he should have gone wide plus they would have gotten another yellow if they had waited for the penalty, we gave them a chance to get back at us in the last 3 mins. Good win though
