McKirdy is an interesting case, he was brought up in Stoke but when released from Villa went to Carlisle and then Port V via 3 loans . I dont really blame anyone for not settling in Carlisle and he seems to have been pissed about at PV.
Apparently he doesnt like being "coached". But then I dont suppose George Best or Paddy MCourt did either. Someone needs to just get him fit, wind him up and put him on the pitch. But in this age of systems and transitions I doubt its going to happen. He would be an excellent impact sub though, maybe the Speakmans could sort his head out? |  | | |

Andy Cook is an interesting one. Good scoring record wherever he's been but has only ever managed one season above L1 and is now aged 30. Seems like he's struggled to settle at Mansfield and been out on loan a couple of times, suspect he might end up on a permanent deal at Bradford. | |
