Never afraid to criticise bad performances mate, and have been doing it for years. Always try to find positives, but if there are none, there are none. Today there were none.
Yep. This was really poor. No bright spots from this performance except that I missed the first half.

If the scouts were watching that game I can't see BOS getting any offers in January. The only player likely to attract a bid is Dieng and god forbid if we sell him.

You still think he should have a two and half year contract extension?
Paul - give me a sensible alternative? We would have to start all over again with no money. That's another 2-3-4 years down the road to get back to where we are today. Who would want to manage us? Another churn of players in and out. Our club needs stability. We played 45 minutes of brilliance in each of our last 3 matches. Yes in the aftermatch of this shoddy performance I feel as badly as any QPR fan. But let's all remain calm, and no knee jerk reaction. I feel the same as all of us - not happy is an understatement. Yes we're currently on 3 successive defeats with a defence as wide as the Grand Canyon. If there are several more successive defeats - in this manner - then we look at it again. But we have to be realistic. At the moment we are 6 points clear of the bottom three. We're in 18th spot. If we finish the season 18th I'll accept that. I'm hoping we'll finish 13th as last year and close to the same points as last season 58. It's tough for us fans. But what's new?

Good post. Agree with all of that.
Also agree. But if you knew your contract was up at the end of the season (with no chance of renewal), could you really be bothered. Surely the board must be looking at making a change before the Jan transfer window. And if you don't agree with me, just look at the current league table with some of the sides above us, with no better squads. I've been fully supporting the R's since the 70s and am currently seriously teed off.

Compare that to when Rotherham were 2 down to us at HT: their management saw what was wrong and not working and made decisive changes tactically and with progressive subs and it changed the course of the game and we were hanging on at the end. Today we did nothing like that.

Might not get out of the league but he will go. Probably somewhere like Swansea or Blackburn.
It`s almost certain that he will. Can`t see him cutting it in the prem, on current form and application. If that`s down to him or those playing around him he still needs to at least stand out from the crowd. Worked for Eze.

Crazy how we can, almost as 1, see whats wrong, and what needs doing, but the man i charge, the man taking a reasonable wage each week ,the man we had put all our hopes in, doesnt!
Where is our defensive coach? if we have one, he should be looking at working at Tesco's before Christmas as they are hiring.
If we havnt, then what are 'Dr Evil' and Warbs doing?
Someone came back to me earlier this week to correct me, rather pedantically, but we need to score goals and not let goals in, and that was (pedant not withstanding) the way you generally win games, or i prove or get promotion, or better players (as others want to play for us for the right reasons), and crowds get bigger, and revenue increases.
And to close, there is a common denominator in our last 5 or more manager appointments..... think about it for a minute.
I can't say I am surprised by todays ineptitude. I have been beaten into submission over the years by our unfailing ability to keep losing to the same teams year in year out. It does not matter who the manager is, who we stick on the pitch, where our opponents are in the table or how their form is. Nothing matters we lose.
Every damn season I look at the fixture list and can pick out Huddersfield, Norwich, Brentford, Bristol City, Blackburn, Preston as defeats especially away. I don't know what it is about those clubs but sadly it is all so predictable. Have we actually scored against Huddersfield since they came down?
Sometimes I think we need an exorcist rather than a manager...

Mediocracy seems to be accepted throughout he club and has been that way for years, only punctured by serial winner Neil Warnock and a couple of lunatic businessmen who demanded results. We should be striving for better.

Makes you proud of all the progress we are making, dont it?
Want him to succeed, gone from a positive Rangers fans to a negative one and seem to be upsetting friends and family on the what's app groups, just fell I'm watching a different Rangers to everyone else.
Truth is we have had good halves or 40 minutes here and there and some bad refs but genuinely shit from corners loads of cards and go halves without a shot on goal.... and it's not as pretty as some think.
Since March it's been dreadful nobody is playing for him, people think back to Cardiff and Swansea over Xmas game but even the Luton game 3-0 at half time won 3-2, he is arrogant and won't change his ways, give him 100 million he wouldn't get us out this league, out of contact in summer he doesn't deserve a new one on last 9 months.

Absolutely diabolical.
Defended Warburton on here for last two games, but that's indefensible.
I said last week I'd only replace a manager when relegation was a real possibility. Well, when you have performances like that, with not a single positive or good performance (or even average performance) you're getting to that stage. Absolutely bereft of quality, heart, desire, invention (apart from once decently worked corner); we were slow, sluggish, second best to everything. At HT, HTFC had won 80% of challenges. 80%. We are weak and that was utterly spineless. The first goal was the most amateur goal I've ever seen. 50 yards he ran, sorry jogged, with the entire Rangers team taking social distancing to an extreme. It was a nice finish, but anyone in Sunday league football can do that when there's no challenge.
Absolute embarrassment, and either there's a major, major reaction next week or some serious decisions have to be made. I'm more angry about that than the 6-0 v Newcastle years back - at least thatw as against a vastly superior side playing scinitillating stuff with a champions league winning manager. this was, with no respect, fcking huddersfield.
How I feel and I suspect most of us feel
I genuinely think that if we had played against Southend today - bottom of League 2 - we would have lost too.
Today was almost as bad as it gets. That might happen in a few weeks time when we play Wycombe. If Warbs is still around and we loose that, he won’t be here afterwards.
I guess we should all accept we have an average League 1 / 2 team but we play (currently) in the Championship

The fact that we have seen it all before should probably tell us the manager isn’t the main issue.
I agree Northern,
but the issue is much much bigger than we either care to think about or ague about.
1) yes we got a i to bad situation regarding FFP and it has hurt us
2) we have a DOF that seems to be drawign a wage for mediocrity and failure and because of his status doesnt get much said against him, and he's probably here for life
3) pick crap managers, that seems to not see the problems or be willing to improve upon our weeknesses, and in some cases pick dubious ability players.
4) Buy or take on loan players that just dont fit the bill, and not fill the positions that need filling (midfield general for example) (and yes i know we can only buy or loan within our budget, but for example, who's doing the scouting?)
5) The players arent being taught, or are incapable of learning.......or , god forbid, dont give a shyte about playing for the team as long as they get a wage packet (and we've been there before eh?)
6) fitness..... do we have fit players? after a;l we have 5 subs available now (god knows why) but are certain players still u fot, as the team was deadfully unfit for the start of the season for quite a while.
I would still keep Warby, but it's coming to a head now. do we keep him and accept possible league 1 footy next season, or do we give it a game or 2 and then get the axe out before it might be too late? especially with the transfer window coming up?
