TV Themes that stir the 1960s/70s blood 16:55 - Apr 17 with 11162 viewsmonmouth

I've been doing some online lectures and while waiting for people to join I've been introducing todays youngsters to some of my favourites from the era. It's fair to say that they're not impressed, but I enjoy it so they can naff off. So far I've got in reserve:

Man in a suitcase
Prisoner
Randall and Hopkirk
Persuaders
Danger Man
Department S

I know there were others I used to love but can't remember. Any favourites?

Always loved Georgy Girl which is a song and a film from 1966....it seems to embrace the changing times of Swinging Sixties. The song is from the Seekers...lively and still slightly folky. A very 1960's song...which the snowflakes should listen to if they want to get into the essence of the swinging sixties

Chester ‘Howlin’ Wolf’ Burnett, the ‘mystery guest’ interviewed by David Jacobs after Smokestack Lightnin’ was played.

Jacobs: Tell me, Mr. Wolf (😂) - why do you sing in that voice?
Wolf: ‘Cos that’s the way I talks!

In my opinion one of the best programs to come out of the US in the 1980’s, another great one was Married with Children.
