Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I can't remember! It would have been one of those pop and crisps bus trips away to non league opposition in the FA Cup in the late 60s when I was a schoolboy - Weymouth possibly.

Eastville was mine as well
Loved that big bank. It seemed huge. Greyhound track and lights all around.

Sheff Wed 14th January we lost 5-1 or 6-1 Very cold & snowy with only about 100 Swansea fans there (that was the norm for years after) I remember looking at the weird kind of fenced pens in the away end we were directly below the tunnel and the big blue fences and thinking I bet there’s no pitch invasions here !!

Decided on a nice close away game to get started. Darlington, FA Cup, December 2006. Won 3-1. 4,000 or so in a huge stadium. Bitterly cold and somewhat bizarre.

Last game of season just missed out on promotion under Harry Griffiths but it was the start of great things with players like R James Curtis Charles and full backs Evans and Bartley doing well. Incidentally I lost a new Adidas trainer on this day when a fight broke out behind the goals😂
Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Chester 1978/9 Played for school that morning in Chester and had permission for bus to drop me off on its way back. Still had to wear my Wrexham school uniform though which was bad enough walking through Chester but then I went in the Swansea end. Lost 2-0. To be on the safe side I left with about 10 minutes to go and it started kicking off just as I reached the exit gates.
Either Cardiff in the Welsh Cup or Nuneaton in the FA Cup. Won the first one 5-3 in extra time after the big Cardiff centre half was sent off. Lost to Nuneaton (non league) 2-0. The ups and downs of watching a dodgy local team. I now have no idea why I went to Nuneaton, or indeed where the hell Nuneaton is.
