Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Let’s hope whoever the new manager ends up being wants him.

Him and Cammy Tosh get on like a house on fire

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Great news and a master stroke from Birch. In uncertain times like these players like Routs can prove to be invaluable in steadying the ship. He wanted to be here, in sharp contrast to some. Chuffed for us and him. And perch.

A master stroke? It's a no-brainer as they say and was probably the easiest deal he's ever had to negotiate. We know from how Wayne threw out the clauses in his last contract that he's not here just for the money.

Terrible news. The journeyman sticks around again. Well past his sell by date should be shipping the deadwood like him out and bringing new youngsters through. Terrible decision.

Well I don’t agree it’s terrible news but I’m not ecstatic either.

Did you watch any games last season? In fairness to Routs (who was past it in the PL), he used his experience well and we need a few 'old pros' to bring on the youngsters.

If we’d signed a 35 year old on a free transfer from another club and our fans looked back at his record over the last few years there’d be a right kerfuffle.

Pleased for him

But he needs the right manager for the job to get the best out of him, or what he has left anyway. If we bring in a hoof-it manager, itll be a waste of time. Somebody a bit more progressive will be beneficial.

THIS^^^
I'm chuffed to bits 'Super Waynee' has stayed. Let's hope he keeps up the great form he showed under Potter who, in fairness, really got his confidence up. And well done to Trevor Birch who's begun lifting the gloom at SCFC in the last few days with his refreshing openness and honesty.

Yes of course, but that’s not what we are doing. We’re giving a one year contract to one of our best players over the second half of the season.

Luckily though we could all see what he brought to the team last year. No risk in this, even if by some miracle someone else comes through and steals his spot. It's a long old season, we need bodies and he's better than the alternatives.

A good clubman but surely there is better out there.
Perhaps he is cheap.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
