Another T.Rex LP to add to the first ever purchase list. But mine was the compilation album called Ride a White Swan which was issued on the budget label Music For Pleasure and came in a garish matt textured sleeve. Other than the title track, it was songs recorded under their previous guise of Tyrannosaurus Rex and was capitalising on their new found chart success under the shortened name. I think it cost 79 pence and I still have it stashed away up the loft.

Electric Warrior for me too. I still have it and play on my turntable, even though I also have it on CD. Bought from John Menzies ( ? ) WH Smith (? ) in Swansea - the one that used to be on the corner opposite M&S that had a records section downstairs. And that album still stands up to the test of time.
