kyle walker. THE best loan.
Routledge was also superb the same season but for me Walker just tore up the league and gave us the momentum to go on and win the league.

I got told Walker was useless and couldn't defend about 3 months ago at an under 23 game.

Kyle walker is a good shout. Rarely has a player looked so much more of an athlete than the other players on the pitch. It was almost embarrassing. I remember telling a Spurs how good he was and how he'd be playing for England before too long and him laughing at me.

Walsh was on loan when I first started going to Rangers. I was gutted when me dad explained to me that he wasn't actually our player.

When I first saw Walker I said 'what's he doing here, he's far too good for us' . I also said he would play for England.

While I wouldn’t say he’s a useless defender, it’s worth noting that Guardiola dropped him for the big game vs Liverpool after defensive mistakes over Christmas.

I like Walker and he was fantastic whilst on loan with us. But he does seem to make more than his fair share of defensive mistakes at the top level. He’s great going forward mind you.

A lot of good loans have been mentioned, but how about Tommy Williams for the playoff season?
I think Adel, Kyle Walker and Andres Townsend, all from Spurs were very good for us.

I've been reading the forum for ages, but this is my first post. (Sorry, cheese makes me ill.)

Never understood the love for Townsend, who looked an incredibly limited player to me at Loftus Road. So one footed that defenders knew exactly what he was going to do, and very reluctant to get a cross in. Of course, he's had the fortunate knack of scoring spectacular goals in high profile games to distract from his deficiencies. But you'd have to say there's a reason why this great hope of English football was let go by Spurs, then went from Newcastle not to a big club but to Palace, from whom no one has expressed any interest in signing him.
