Old programmes on 16:41 - Nov 6 with 3869 views | TenbySwan | Love it. Fondly remember the football league review you used to get and the teams used to be right also! (Most of the time) Also the letters by the side of the pitch for half time scores. I had loads of programmes but sadly my parents gave all mine to the jumble sale when they downsized. I was living in digs at the time due to working away 😧ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ [Post edited 6 Nov 2018 16:43]

Yes, great times. I remember all those players on the first programme, except Len Hill. Will have to check him out
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I think so, this was 1969 when I would have been 16. His brother Alan was the same year as me in Penlan, and Robbie was younger than us. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Old programmes on 09:19 - Nov 7 with 3319 views | Catullus | My sister moved home years back and found some stuff left in the cupboard, boxes of folders containing old football programmes. The old fella who used to live there (who'd passed away) was an avid colector. They were all pristine, all in their own page, no marks or writing and programmes/leaflets from the 20's to the early 70's including several now extinct clubs including Barrow, Darwen and the mighty Aberdare Athletic. She wouldn't tell me how much she got for them, mean seeing as she was going to bin them until I pointed out they could be valuable. I looked up a few online and they were estimated from £5 to over £400 and there were hundreds. I should have said nothing and said I'd dump them for her!!

The worst one ever was a fella on here a few years ago that said he was a labourer helping to renovate a house in Port Talbot,he said he’d found a load of Beatles magazines up the attic. I said I’ll buy them off you. He said it’s too late I’ve already thrown them in the skip.

What a waste, specially for a music fanatic. I wouldn't have a clue to the value but I'd have seen the Beatles and been straight online. I bet he checked afterwards and had a good cry

It was. He left aged 16 in 1973 (same year as my sister) I believe the same year he went to Arsenal, but then returned back to Swansea homesick ?

Robbie went up to Arsenal on loan in 1974 (1974/75 season), but came back homesick the following day. RIP YJB
