If there's any way the club could hold onto Lukasz then they should make it happen. Captain next year for me. He would be the best keeper in the league and would be a real statement of our intentions.

He been our mom 15/16 times this season and loves the area.
Sadly there are many PL clubs that need upgrade keeper so would pay a decent fee and raise his wages. Suspect we need to plan without him.

Would do well at Cardiff tbh.

I assume that the relegation clauses are still on the contracts that HJ always made a big point about. If your wages were reduced by a third or half and someone else offered to pay you more would you stay?

Anyone of any quality will be gone possibly before the World Cup.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Agree completely. Match what he might be offered at another club to keep him.

Get rid of the dross and hangers on and we should be able to afford it.

The relegation clause is largely irrelevant. It’s not binding to us if we want to pay him more.

He is going to want PL/top level football though and rightly so.

You are to sentimental, kissing badge means nothing, how many ex swans and players from other clubs have done it, then do it to their new clubs.

He has to leave, if he wants to be the No. 1 for Poland and he was already a lost cause when he played for us and Szczesny for Juventus and now he wouldn't have any chance if he stayed with us. He probably would end his career with us if we were still in Premier League, sadly that's not the case.

I think he is really settled here. So it's a really mixed emotions for him.

Would love him to stay, but doubt it. There are easy 6/8 teams that would make him their number 1.

I reckon he'd do well in at least half the PL clubs next season

Jordan is an interesting case. Villa fans reckoned he wasn’t interested during his half a season in the Championship and scored 2 in 21 games.

They were genuine tears. The badge slapping was saying he loves us but knows he has to leave. A bit like people leaving their family to better themselves.

Well ok not really like that, but you know what I mean. He's just too good for us now. He knows it, we know it.

He's probably worked harder than any other keeper this season and nobody would blame him for moving.

We would all wish him well if he does leave.

One of Polish joournalist, and close friend to Łukasz tweeted today that from his sources those who wish to see him in Premier League soon won't be disappointed.
Unfortunately i dont think he means that it will be in Swans shirt in 19/20 season....

We'll need more than 2 goals in 21 from him if he stays.

Neither does missing chances repeatedly

He's a very interesting one. Not conducive to a high tempo passing game as he doesn't get his head up enough and he doesn't create a lot either, but his running does cause problems. He could be a class act in the championship if he wants to be.

Doubt we'll find out though as he'll be off as soon as he can.
