I've mentioned Ljajic all season as the best alternative to Viera, and he's supposedly available for just €12m with Spartak Moscow the most likely destination if he leaves Torino:
Ljajic has all the same skills as Viera but is nearly 6'0" and only 26 years old. He's been excellent this season (3 goals / 5 assists / 2.5 key passes / 1.7 dribbles / 2.5 shots) and would be exactly what we need. As for him not coming here, spend the £18m and £100k a week allotted for Ayew, and he'd be looking for the next flight to Wales.

- dribbler - first touch - technique with both feet - pace - on the turn - link up play - passes through/over the backline - shot from distance - crosser - set piece specialist

Schurrle is on the bench for a reason - he's injury-prone and extremely inconsistent. Still rather have him than Ayew, though.
I don't see Ljajic going back to Roma and he is far too good to be on the bench the rest of the season, especially with the World Cup coming up.
Pay him a bunch of money (still less than Ayew will make) make him a starter, and he's probably on his way to Swansea right now.

I think the fact Ljajic can’t get into a team that sits 10th in serie A and no team in any of the top flights have decided to sign him shows that it’s in fact you that has no clue what he’s taking about.

Is this a serious post, Daggy? Since you started out with "Ljajic is average at best" it's kind of hard to view it as one. If it is, either you don't watch much football or haven't seen very much of the guy, or both. Out of interest, what's your take on Ayew?
Either way, it's pretty astounding how many insular small-minded posters there are on here. In case you weren't aware, British footballers are mostly sshitt and extremely overpriced. Many of those "foreigners" you deride are better players and far cheaper. In fact, much of our PL success is down to them - Gylfi/Llorente/Michu/Ayew/Bony/De Guzman/Chico/Rangel/etc. You do know that, don't you?
As for me, I watch a good bit of football and have spent a great deal of my life playing the game. I have an eye for talent and if I choose to share some of that on here, I do so.
