Worst Loan Eleven on 19:08 - Aug 18 with 755 views | MancR | Bloody scariest thread of the year. Some truly unforgettable crap players. Bob. Malcolm with his legs moving but going nowhere! Maiga and Keane how were they even footballers. Scott Sinclair standing on the wing hardly moving because it was too cold!
Worst Loan Eleven on 20:18 - Aug 18 with 720 views | kensalriser | We really have plumbed some depths. Mind you, some of these players have gone on to great things. Mobido Maiga, for instance, is now enjoying life at the top with Al-Ittihad Kalba. Well, maybe not quite the top as sadly his four goals last year weren't enough to prevent relegation to UAE Division 1. Meanwhile Will Keane has banged in an impressive four Championship goals in the three years since he left QPR and should Hull be shrewd enough to include him in tomorrow's squad, will no doubt add to that tally.

Worst Loan Eleven on 16:39 - Aug 18 by Tonto | OP - harsh on Tom Carroll, who was neat and tidy rather than poor Others harsh on Jimmy Smith IMO - he scored quite a few goals that year. who was the ex England FB who played for us on loan - blond hair - was rubbish |
Are you thinking Andrew Davies from Boro? Bloody hell this thread is pure trauma.
Worst Loan Eleven on 21:05 - Aug 18 with 697 views | Tonto | No it was Warren Barton. I thought Davies was quite good whilst he was on loan... I was annoyed he didn't sign permanently

Worst Loan Eleven on 14:40 - Aug 18 by flitwickhoop | Wasn't Mobido Maiga on loan? He couldn't even kick a ball properly. Macheda as well was absolute tripe |
Have to agree with Maiga, useless.

Like a number of players of that era, he was on loan from a consortium of his own ego and a private hospital, but technically he was permanent. The point of this thread has to be players who we luckily weren't stuck with for years on end but where you have to wonder why we bothered at all. Scott Sinclair is high on my hit list. Some of the names here couldn't help being cr*p, it's the ones who could have used a spell with us to turn talent into achievement but were too precious to try that I despise. Martin Cranie was sort of the reverse - looked brilliant for us on loan, fell apart on all fronts after he left.
