Names on shirts? 09:26 - Jul 16 with 1440 viewsKinsey

What's the deal with having no names on the shirts? Am I missing something?

Made us look like a boys club team

Maybe they're holding off on printing in case anyone else leaves to save few quid!

I think names will go on when it's all clear who's staying and who's going and when the finalised player list gets sent to the premier league, least thats my take on it. Roque was wearing 51 if memory serves and i don't think he'll keep that number for long.

Most football teams don't wear shirts during friendlies because they don't really finalise the numbers till later.. also during friendlies you can play trialists.. etc etc.. so I guess no names just make it easier at this moment.

He's announced that his squad number for the season is 51

I've heard they are too embarrassed to have their names on their shirts.

Mesa chose 51 as it was the closest resemblance to 15, that shirt is already taken by Routlege.

I've seen him have some insignificant games but this last one was awful, truely awful.

Things are so sissified these days. When I was a lad it was just play in your underpants. Those boys who could afford them anyway. Always paid to have a good dead ball specialist in your side back then.
