Spurs want Barkley as well. If that's correct then where's Glyfi gonna go then Leicester? be really disappointed if he did to be honest.

So will he ....

I'm going to be brutally honest here. I've got my reservations about Tammy. He looks strong and he's as athletic as they come and he can properly, and I mean, properly latch onto balls, but from the little I've seen, there's hardly any finesse about him.

But he's a kid who will only get better with more composure through experience and I hope to see more than the doubts I have right at this minute. So i'm far from writing him off, I'm still very hopeful..

Mesa, on the other hand, he looks genius on the ball.

The Res writes a player off - shock!
FFS the boy hasn't kicked a ball in anger yet, talk about wait and see
Be underwhelmed or whatever, but don't think Chelsea would have signed him to a 5-year contract just for fun

Monmouth, let me say first that I greatly respect your intellect and humor, and you seem like a great hang, truly.

Now, the bad stuff. We didn't "save" Siggy's career "twice" or once even. He is an absolute quality footballer and professional, and has been his entire career. No rose-rinted glasses here, just the facts:

- 20 goals/10 assists at Reading in 2009
- 12 goals/4 assists with Hoffenheim/Reading in 2010
- Voted Hoffenheim's Player of the Year by their fans
- Fell out with their manager, and we were lucky to get him on loan thanks to Rodgers
- He then "saved" OUR ass for the first time, scoring 7 goals/4 assists
- Single-handedly (yes, correct) kept us up, or this whole PL excursion would've been over before it started
- Moved to Spurs and made 83 appearances with 13 goals/9 assists, all during the circus of Supernova Bale and its aftermath
- Spurs were also managed by two absolute buffoons who are now in China (AVB) and long-term unemployment (Sherwood)
- Thankfully came back to us, has been our best player for three seasons (30 goals/25 assists) and kept us up in two of those, while Jenkins stripped us bare

He could've left during the good like Bony/Sinclair/Allen/Davies, or fled during the bad like Ayew/Ash. He stayed, and I thank him. If he leaves, he leaves. I will wish him well. All professional athletes want to challenge themselves on the highest levels and I can't fault him if he wants another shot.

I refuse to sshitt on the guy, simply because of the above. He has been our best player in the PL, no argument, and I thank him for everything and sincerely hope he stays. That's it. Everything else is paper talk, until it isn't. I'll reserve judgement 'til then.

Let's give him a chance.

He is obviously raw and yes may well lack the finesse of a more experienced player, but Chelsea have just given him a long term highly paid contract and he obviously has the knack of being in the right place and putting chances away. From the clips I've seen, he doesn't seem to offer a lot in terms of build up, but my Bristol City supporting mates tell me his hold up and link play is actually very good. Looks the type of striker who needs players around him, so hopefully points to a more aggressive attacking style.

I have no idea how we will set up if Llorente stays, which looks more likely now he has injured his arm.

For me he beats Schecter and Vazquez hands down.
Positive touch.

Thanks, STID.

Really not hard to make the case for Siggy, but for some reason our supporters have to continously be reminded how much he has meant to us in the PL.

Really does boggle the mind at times, but it is human nature to ask "what have you done for me lately", I guess. I find it hard to believe Liverpool's or Chelsea's fans would treat Coutinho or Hazard this way, though.

Siggy is that player for us, and we are nowhere near those club's level, which makes him even more valuable. It is imperative we keep him, unless he absolutely wants to go. And I personally don't think that's the case, but I could be wrong.

This summer will answer A LOT of questions about our club. Hopefully, we get all the right ones.

Got that sphincter checked yet?

More than likely a worrying sign, part of a much more serious problem. I'm not a doctor, though, and I'm not itchy down there.

I'll cede the floor to the expert (that's you). I'm out of my depth here, pun intended.

That must've been SOME checkup, huh?

Got you feeling all lose and relaxed, right?

Try and refrain from scratching, even though it's probably a habit by now. You should have some meds to take care of it.

Hope it works out for you.

Got told today by the footy lads that we have rejected Evertons initial approach, they were expected to make an improved offer but are stalling and may turn their sights elsewhere. Few twists and turns in this yet.

So in other words it will be a shock if he doesn't go, but he might stay, yeah?
