Well it's 8 weeks yesterday til season starts.
7 weeks til Newport county and rest of football league starts.
And after last seasons near traumatic miss it's nice to have a break, however I'm also itching for clement and co to start slamming points on the league too. | |

Trouble is, just as I started to really enjoy it, it stopped! The enjoyment started on 22nd April but only lasted a month.
Still, I'm usually ok with the closed season provided I've got something to do so I went to Spain just after the season finished and I'm off to the Shetlands tomorrow for a few days before going to the Orkneys for a few days then home. They just happen to be places that have always interested me so thought I'd go and have a look.
The place I'd been to in Spain a few weeks ago was 42 degrees yesterday and the Shetlands was 12 degrees and raining! Hmmmmmm........ |  | | |
