I often, well constantly, get accused of ruining people's favourite songs by changing the words to something that I find better. I can't help it: it's a compulsive disorder. Probably. Do you all suffer from a similar condition?
A tame example would be: 'Tie Angela Rippon to an old oak tree'.
A more heinous one would be my altered lyrics to 'Angels' by Robbie Williams which begin with 'And through it all, she makes me wear protection, plays with my...' Well, you get the idea.
Tell me I'm not alone.

I very amusingly change the lyrics to Kings of Leon's song 'Sex is on fire' to... 'socks are on fire'. My kids think I'm hilarious. Well, my youngest does anyway. He's 8.

I was at the cashpoint in Archway with my then girlfriend, and in my own little world, started singing the Kool and the gang classic, “Get down on it, touch my helmet, don’t you bite it, just delight it. How you gonna do it if you really don’t want to dance, get your co ck out of my ar se, get your co ck out of my ars e”, chuckled to myself and turned round to look at my girlfriend who I thought would also be chuckling, only to discover that she’d wandered over to the bus stop and there were two complete strangers stood behind me. The shame.

A mate of mine, and this is genuinely not me dressing this up as someone else's ineptitude rather then my own...
He thought of Wham's Last Christmas lyric of "Save me from tears" was actually "Semi Frontiers" What does that even mean?
He was about 29 when he discovered this wasn't the lyric and since, myself and anyone else that knows about it have taken the p*ss every year when the song inevitably comes on.
