Which three PL teams are going down? on 08:54 - Nov 22 with 1299 views | hammy | Burnley, Hull and Man Utd (they will go on another run of defeats and Mourinho will implode and take them down with him !) As for the Swans, we have 4 quite winnable home games and 2 away games in the next 7. If we can get a good run going, say 4 wins and 2 draws, then we'll get out of the do-do ... if not then we'll be gone by the New Year. Rumour has it that Pardew will get the sack if we beat them on Saturday ... if ever there was a greater incentive ;)

Well let's hope if they beat us, Bob gets the sack.

That would be Hull and Boro/Palace. Newcastle will be out of the Championship next season, be nice if Norwich were too.

Saturday's game will be fascinating. Both teams, and managers, will be as nervous as hell. Statistically speaking, it would be very unusual for a team to lose six on the bounce, which is very worrying for us. Palace have a real attacking threat in Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Puncheon; I'm very worried about Taylor's ability to contain Zaha. I'd pick Amat and Round the Horne to have the best chance of competing physically with Benteke. On the other hand, their defence is fairly crap, but do we have the forward power to actually score some goals? I'd go for a starting line up to include Lorente, Barrow and Montero. Risky, but we've just got to start putting the ball in the back of the net.

Yes, I think this match is a game changer. Win and we'll get plenty of confidence for the fight ahead; lose and I thinks heads will drop and will be very difficult to get a run of points from seemingly easier matches leading up to end of December; and a draw will just keep us all lingering on !

The way we are playing at the moment, would you give us much hope against any Championship side?

I agree, both teams will be very nervous and there is a lot riding on this game. They have a strong forward line up and a poor defence, we have a poor defence, 2 decent strikers but we aren't able to give them the service they need to score. I think Palace will play for a draw parking the bus and looking to catch us on the break, a point is a good result away from home for them and it will maintain the gap between us. On the other hand, we need to win if we want to close the gap and give ourselves a chance of safety. Hopefully last weekend and Paul Williams arrival will give the team a lift, if the Swans lose I expect the board to cop some stick and it could get ugly! [Post edited 22 Nov 2016 19:00]

Feeling a bit better since the improved performance on the weekend, last week I wouldn't have fancied us against TNS! Holding out hope that there would be a re-working of the squad if we went down, think we could hold our own with the carcass of the premier league squad, some of the better U23s and one or two good signings.
