There was a rumour going around today that Oldham Athletic have failed to pay Rochdale for tickets they sold for the recent game and they are just one of several debters chasing the club. I reckon they should ask bury if they have any buckets to spare.

I guess that if we play either of these fookers at home again and GMP insists on all ticket for away support, on the basis that we cannot trust this pair of slimeball clubs with our ticket monies then away allocations are sold via Ticketmaster or whoever we used for Wembley, with FOOK ALL commission for the biffos or bucket rats.
Fook 'em.
All ticket from the Dale ticket office...
It's not that far for either to travel.
Cutting off the revenue stream though would hurt us.
What has become of clubs when they resort to this slimeball tactic.

The surprising thing is that surely the amount isn't that much. Wasn't the Oldham game one which the police climbed down on no sales on the day as there wasn't a massive uptake and so allowed us to sell tickets from the learning centre on the day?
So we don't know how many were advance OAFC sales and how many gave this money directly to us. Even if it was 1500 in advance. Say at an average of £15 after concessions and their commission is accounted for that's "only" £22,500.
So if a club cannot afford to pass on such a paultry amount there is definitely something amiss especially when it was takings for something which could easily have been kept separately

Where would this leave Dale if both clubs went into administration.....
My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

We will certainly know how many tickets OAFC were given in advance and how many they sold, therefore how much we are due from those sales.
£40,000 is outstanding from OAFC from advanced sales.

Rumour has it the Calvin thing was all down to their chairman... Neither Peter Clarke nor their manager wanted to take it further (Clarkes character statement in support of Calvin perhaps supports this.)
