Sunderland game on 20:39 - Aug 30 by fitzochris | He was a cracking player at Hamilton under Alex Neil and I can see why he took him to Norwich. Shame he's not made a place his own in the first team. I'll make the obligatory "I'd love to see him here" comment. |
He's had a decent half tonight by the sound of it scoring twice!

He did well at Rotherham on loan last season, would be very good in league 1.

Not sure how he has been utilised at Norwich, but he predominantly dictated proceedings from the middle, and was easily the Championship's standout attacking midfielder, the season Hamilton went up to the Premier League. He's probably the type of player we already have in that attacking midfield role, his play being based on his ability to thread passes through to a striker. What he does offer is a goal threat, though - with either foot and his head. My mate, who watches Hamilton regularly, did say he drifted out of games sometimes, but every time I saw him he did the opposite.

Haven't seen him at Norwich but friends who have weren't exactly gushing. Played just behind the striker mostly but has struggled to get game time and impose himself on games when selected. Attendances tonight Sheff Utd v Leicester 3632 - 177 away Coventry v West Ham 2901 - 98 away

Sunderland game on 20:31 - Aug 30 by fitzochris | Tony Andreu is playing for Norwich U23s and he's a long way past that age bracket. Decent player, actually. Shame he's been stuck in the stiffs since leaving Hamilton. |
At least this shows the benefit to our national side with these changes. From the bits I've read in Twitter, there doesn't seem to have been my attempt to progress young English players in the U23 sides. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Sunderland game on 21:11 - Aug 30 with 1733 views | lyberoc | Seeing the unsurprising low attendances might it not be a time for the directors to have a look at the pricing of our game next week, perhaps if it was a free in game, or a nominal fee of £1 we might just get more than Accy did

There'll be more away fans at Blackpool once the illuminations start... Maybe we could arrange a fifth-rate fireworks display or summat for next Tuesday?

I'll be there. Regardless of the competition JPT or this new format I like seeing the fringe players and youngsters as I never go to a reserve or youth team match. Be nice to see Morley get a start and Tanser at left back!

Sunderland game on 22:54 - Aug 30 with 1391 views | 49thseason | This game looks like a great opportunity to put 5000 free Dad and Lad tickets into local primary schools and get some momentum on "free" season tickets for under 11s . Oh, and make it a quid on the door for everyone else.

Didn't this whole reformatting need approval by L1&2 clubs? Anybody know what Rochdale's official position was?

At the forum I think CD said he voted for it as a one season trial. Think KH said he was against it.
