Im sorry as much as I love the Swans im sure you could have said to STADCO or the Money grabbing council " oi no" heres 100k ( Gomis 2 weeks wages) and had a bit of respect over ££££ signs for once and insisted on it being called THE ALAN CURTIS STAND.
Modern day football is just a product..it shouldnt be...but it is.

To the OP.
Can't understand why you get so upset about the naming of a stand, yet you don't object to the stadium being named after some faceless corporation. And when the sponsorship deal runs out. do we then rename the stadium after some new corporation who are prepared to pay more?
Surely the naming of the stadium should bother you more than the naming of a part of the stadium? |  | | |

When I was there, letterhead, presentation templates etc. and the flag on campus were blue, this was a few years ago now though. Not seen the new stand but I am pretty sure all the adverts down the stadium are blue, and the adds I see in train stations. | |

I may well stand corrected then. It was many, many years ago when I was there and I distinctly remember a green and white livery at the time.
