Just looking at positives here. Newcastle lose and Villa + Sunderland dragging the Cherries and Brom down. I know people are still very salty about no transfer news (as am I) but having had time to think about it, this team was 8th last year in the Premier League. The quality of player is there and we have a new no nonsense manager.

Maybe time to start looking up?

Don't worry angel.

I can fall out with anyone myself included.

I think me and missus might be having some adult fun tonight as we haven't lost.

I get pretty upset when we lose.

It doesn't get any easier.

My old fella , cancer or not, is seething seeing us where we are and he was watching us before Ivor's bollux dropped

Getting back to the point - agree its gone well today - important results, with some teams being dragged down into the relegation fight like norwich and Bournemouth.

Would absolutely love a win tomorrow.

West Brom arent looking too great either. Only they might have too many points already? We can make it interesting if we beat them.
Love Pulis to get relegated.

An old naval term perhaps. Epaul would know he's an ex sailor and friend to many celebs.

Possibly an extension of 'high and dry' which is definitely nautical and derives itself from an old navy term meaning a vessel that has been beached, out of the water and therefore no longer seaworthy (and subsequent threat).. Though Perhaps epaul will elaborate as hes an older sea dog than I?...

Results were near enough perfect today. I'm still of the opinion though, that it's all about what we do. I'm not really concerned what others do and won't be until the last few games. If we win, it's a good weekend, if we lose, it's a bad weekend. Regardless of others at the moment.

I understand your view it's still in our control so why worry? It does ignore the impact of pressure on the performance of players and decisions of clubs. If clubs around us lose it dials up the pressure on them and they are more likely to make errors or panic. Norwich players will be feeling the effects of that defeat for a few weeks - hopefully!

As much as it contradicts what I just said, scoring 4 at home and still losing may well crush their spirit. Especially after being in control and losing late in injury time. Won't be easy to pick themselves up after that.

Still need 6 more wins, if we worry about other results each week we will all have nervous breakdowns on this site.

Not at the moment they aren't. If we are still a point above relegation on the last day of the season, then yes, everyone else losing is as good as us winning.

More realistically 3 wins and 9 draws :-) . And other results are just as important as our performance, surely. Positives : Great defence so far with lowest number of goals conceded in the bottom 10. Negatives: Second worst goal scoring record in the division. We have hit the woodwork more than most and been offside more than most. Resolution : Address the front three and we're home and dry.

Bafe needs to work on staying onside , then he'll bang in a load more before the end of the season IMO
