The club have reached a new low, not only are they suing fans for speaking out, pensioners who are on a fixed income, but have now removed the Morty Statue 'for safety reasons' . Well, I for one do not believe a word that comes out of any of their mouths. If they think any Blackpool Supporter would vandalise the statue, which some of them paid for, then it proves how completely out of touch they are regarding the fans.
It is 62 years since Stanley Harding Mortenson made history by scoring a hat trick in the FA Cup Final at Wembley, a record that still stands today. The fans are not now allowed to gather at the plinth on threat of being prosecuted for trespass.
Things that go around come around, and I look forward to the day of judgement when the custodians of our wonderful club reap the things they have sewn. I feel it will not be pretty. |  |
